Do you belive boys are even worth pursuing in high school? I know it's not exactly fair to generalize, but from what I've observed at my school, a good number of teen boys are close minded and foolish. Your opinion?

arabellesicardi:

teen boys are the scum of the earth. fuck them for practice if you’d like, use them for their lunch money and make them buy you nice things, and don’t listen to them at all. actually men until the age of maybe 28 (being generous here) are all fucking scum who don’t have their shit together and i’m usually embarrassed to be in the same room as them.

I’d say 33, but even then, I know a few who still need to grow the fuck up.

Unrequited love is more dramatic than requited love. And I have lots of first-hand experience of it. It’s an easy thing to return to. There’s so much to say about it.

Stephin Merritt, on why his songs have the running theme of unrequited love, from an interview with BlackBook

I’ve always found unrequited love to be much more interesting, perhaps something I can only say because I haven’t been on the other end of it, but there’s something really perfect about it, something untouched and unattainable, something contradictory in its hopefulness and hopelessness, something very painful and complicated, but somehow worthwhile.

lol this post and my life rn

I am, for the most part, a very warm and generous person. I like to shower people with compliments. I like to make people feel good. I like letting them know that they’re the ones making me feel good.
